Cylinder head

z Move the measuring bridge on the shims so

that the stylus is applied to the specified measuring

points.

Note

- Measuring points, see schematic diagram.

- The stylus may not be positioned on the

labeling of the piston.

z Note the greatest measured value.

z Select the cylinder head gasket according to the

greatest

measured piston overlap.

z Example: Piston overlap = 0.73 mm, corresponds

to cylinder head gasket with 2notches(arrow).

Install cylinder head

z Make sure the clamping pins (arrows) are in place.
