De Vorwort Gratulation zum Kauf Ihrer neuen Uhr. Sie sind jetzt Eigentümer eines Zeitgebers, der sich durch höchste Präzision und innovativem Design auszeichnet. Für jede Uhr gilt, dass wir alle wichtigen Ersatzteile für viele Jahre bereithalten und damit garantieren, dass jede Uhr über einen langen Zeitraum repariert werden kann. Damit wir gewährleisten können, dass Ihre neue Uhr viele Jahre problemlos funktioniert, lesen Sie bitte sorgfältig die folgende Bedienungsanleitung.
De Wasserdichtigkeit Allgemeine Hinweise von Wasserdichtigkeit / DIN 8310 Wasserdichtigkeit ist keine bleibende Eigenschaft; sie sollte jährlich und insbesondere vor besonderen Belastungen überprüft werden, da die eingebauten Dichtungselemente in ihrer Funktion und im täglichen Gebrauch nachlassen.
De Um die Wasserdichtheit einer Uhr zu gewährleisten werden Dichtungen verwendet. Diese unterliegen einem natürlichen Alterungsprozess. Die Widerstandsfähigkeit wird in ATM (Athmosphäre) angegeben und auf dem Gehäuseboden vermerkt. Als „wassergeschützt“ („waterresistant“) werden Uhren bezeichnet, die widerstandsfähig sind gegen Schweiß, Wassertropfen, Regen usw. Sie müssen, in Wasser eingetaucht, über 30 Minuten bei einer Wassertiefe von 1m ohne Eindringen von Wasser überstehen.
De Armbandkürzungen bei Metallarmbändern Lassen Sie Kürzungen des Armbandes bitte möglichst vom Fachhandel durchführen. Bei der nicht sachgerechten Kürzung verlieren Sie mögliche Garantieansprüche. Armbänder mit Stifte: Zur Kürzung des Armbandes werden die seitlichen Stifte mit einem spitzen Gegenstand aus dem Band gedrückt. Achten Sie auf die eingravierten Pfeile auf der Rückseite des Metallarmbandes oder auf entsprechende Aufkleber. nach der Kürzung werden die Stifte wieder hineingedrückt.
De Pflegehinweise Ihre Uhr ist ein Meisterwerk der Elektronik und Feinmechanik von hoher Präzision. Sie soll Ihnen lange die richtige Zeit anzeigen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass Gewährleistungsansprüche bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch, bei Fremdeingriffen, nicht fachgerechtem Batteriezusatz und Glasbruch erlöschen. Legen Sie bei Garantiefällen bitte die Kaufquittung und die Garantiekarte vor. Schützen Sie Ihre Uhr vor Stößen, Magnetfeldern, starker Hitze, Wasser und Chemikalien, sowie vor mechanischem Abrieb.
De Hinweis Automatikuhren Bei den Automatik-Modellen handelt es sich um mechanische Uhren. Das heißt, sie kommen ohne Batterie aus. Da es sich hierbei um mechanische Uhrwerke handelt, sind sie den verschiedensten Umwelt- und Trageeinflüssen unterworfen. Dazu gehören schwankende Temperaturen, wechselnde Luftdruckverhältnisse, Erschütterungen der Uhr und die persönliche Beanspruchung durch den Träger. Anders als bei Quarzuhren ist für diese Uhren eine geringe Gangabweichung normal.
De Hinweis Handaufzug Bei den Handaufzug-Modellen handelt es sich um mechanische Uhren, d.h. sie kommen ohne Batterien aus. Durch Drehen der Krone wird das mechanische Werk diese Handaufzugsuhr in Gang gesetzt. Die Zugfeder wird gespannt und sorgt für die Gangreserve. Zur Vermeidung eines „Überdrehens“ besitzen die Federwerke ein MalteserSperrwerk das die Anzahl der Umdrehungen begrenzt.

De en Waterproof Properties General Information on waterproof properties Waterproofness is not a permanent characteristic; it should be tested annually and in particular before the watch is put under exceptional strain, as the seals deteriorate gradually in daily use.
en The seals are the important factor in guaranteeing the waterproofness of a watch. These age naturally and are also affected by perspiration and acids. The level of waterproofness is given in atm (atmosphere) and noted on the case back of the watch. Watches are considered water resistant if they are resistant against sweat, water droplets, rain etc. They have to remain watertight for a period of 30 minutes when submerged in 1 m of water.
en Shortening a metal link bracelet Please have your metal bracelet shortened by a specialist. Improper adjustment of the bracelet may lead to your guarantee becoming void. Bracelets with pins: In order to shorten the bracelet, push out the pins on the side of the bracelet using a sharp object. Please observe the arrows engraved on the reverse of the metal bracelet or on the labels. After the bracelet has been shortened simply push the pins back into place.

en Note on automatic watches The automatic models are mechanical watches without a battery. Mechanical watches are subject to all kinds of influences from the environment and the wearer. These include fluctuations in temperature, varying air pressure, vibration and strain caused by the wearer. Unlike with quartz watches, slight tolerance is normal. Automatic watches are wound during use. There is an oscillating weight in the clockwork which winds the mainspring when your arm moves.
en Note on hand wound watches Hand wound watches are mechanical watches and do not require batteries. The mechanical movement is started by winding the crown. The main spring is thus tightened and provides a power reserve. The springs have a safety mechanism which limits the number of revolutions and thus prevents over-winding. Your hand wound watch needs to be wound every day since the power reserve only covers between 36-40 hours. Daily winding guarantees consistent, precise time keeping.

The hands are stopped and the time can be read. Push button „B“ again the chronograph is started again and recovers the elapsed time. 3. Push button „B“ to stop and reset the chronograph and return all hands to their zero position.
en Calibration (Resetting) of Chronographs This procedure should be followed if the second hand of the chronograph does not return to the null position after the chronograph has been reset or the battery has been replaced. Press button “A” to set the second hand of the chronograph to the zero position.
