Open the flap for the Thetford cassette on the outside of the vehicle. Insert
the key into the locking cylinder of the push-button lock (Fig. 165,1) and
turn a quarter turn in a clockwise direction.
Remove the key.
Press both push-button locks (Fig. 165,2) simultaneously with your thumb
and open the flap for the Thetford cassette.
Pull the retaining clip (Fig. 166,1) upwards and pull out the Thetford cas-
sette (Fig. 166,2).
11.7.5 Emptying the Thetford cassette
Take the Thetford cassette to a disposal point especially provided for this
purpose. As you do this, point the drainage neck upwards.
Turn the drainage neck upwards.
Remove the cap of the drainage neck.
Point the Thetford cassette with the drainage neck downwards.
Activate the aeration knob with your thumb. The Thetford cassette empties.
Close the drainage neck with the cap.
Return the drainage neck to its original position.
Push the Thetford cassette back to its original position.
Ensure that the Thetford cassette is secured by the retaining clip.
Lock the flap for the Thetford cassette.
