14. Place shims directly under the base frame and under the load cell stands to level the scale.
15. Open the dump valves to lower the scale onto the ground and shims.
16. Remove the safety pin holding the tongue arms together.
17. Swing both tongue arms so they are clear of the scale (at approximately 90 from scale).
