CALIBRATION SEAL INSTALLATION
If your DS Series scale is used in a commercial application it must be tested and sealed by
your local weights and measures official. The DS Series is designed to accept a lead and wire
security seal to prevent unauthorized access to the calibration adjustments. Refer to the figure
below for details on the installation of the seal.
 Thread the sealing wire through the hole in the post in the center of the scale as shown.
 Pull the wire tight and install the lead seal.
 The scale housings cannot be separated without damaging the seal.
