DISPLAY SCALE WI-FI AND BLUETOOTH SETTINGS

If your scale is the Model 6880-C or 6880-C-AC, additional settings will be shown after the

calibration and configuration counters have been shown.

To display the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings, follow the steps below:

1. With no weight on the scale, press, and hold the

key for approximately 5 seconds.

2. The display will show height for a brief time, and then change to show the software

revision of the scale for a few seconds.

3. Release the

key.

4. The display will change to show the Calibration Counter (!) for approximately two

seconds and then the Configuration Counter (+) for approximately two seconds.

5. Next, the Redbird (92`9) software revision for the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (BLE) module will

be displayed.

6. If Wi-Fi is enabled (=`) = #0), the following will be shown:

a. The Wi-Fi status Connected or Disconnected (7607; or 3-:70) will be displayed.

b. The four octets

of the static IP address for the scale will be shown.

c. The network name (**-) will be shown.

7. After that, the Bluetooth (BLE) advertisement data Apex Scale XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX will

scroll across the display. Note that the X’s represents the MAC address and that the

colons between the MAC address will not be shown.

NOTE: The factory setting for Bluetooth (BLE) is On (! = #0). If Bluetooth (BLE) has

been disabled (! = #55), the Bluetooth (BLE) advertisement will not be displayed.

8. The display will change back to showing live weight.

9. Press the

key to return to normal operation.

If the Wi-Fi is Disconnected (3-:70), and a scan of the Wi-Fi networks show

“REDBIRD_WIFI_XX:XX” AP, then the Wi-Fi module is in listening mode. Refer to the

Configure Wi-Fi Network Module section for the procedure to set the Wi-Fi credentials.
