SCALE SETUP, CONT.
&($ (Scale Model)
This selection sets the default settings and operation of the scale and should be set to
$i. NOTE: The '*; (custom) selection is not applicable at this time.
The display will show ;($ and the current setting. If the value displayed is $i (apex),
press the
key. Otherwise, press the × or Ø keys to toggle the Scale Model from '*;
to $i (apex), and then press the
key to save it.
You will be returned to the $ prompt, the current Scale Capacity setting.
NOTE: If your scale is the model 6880-C(-AC) equipped with the Redbird Wi-Fi and
Bluetooth (BLE) wireless transmitter), additional setup prompts will be shown after
selecting the ;($ setting.
Proceed to the Model 6880-C and 6880-C-AC section of this manual for guidance
through the setup and operation of the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (BLE) wireless
transmitter features. Otherwise, setup and calibration are complete.
Scale Setup and Calibration are Complete
Now that the scale setup and calibration has been completed. Press the key to turn the
scale off and then press the key again to turn the scale back on. The scale is now ready for
normal operation.
