SETUP AND CALIBRATION, CONT.
`*$0 (*$0) - Fine Span Adjustment
NOTE! The *$0 and -`9* modes require a load of 10% of Capacity be on
the scale before adjustments can be made.
With the `*$0 prompt displayed after pressing the ENTER key at the last Print prompt:
With *$0 displayed, press the ENTER key. The display will change to show the current
setting 06. To skip the Fine Span Adjustment and return to the *;'$ menu, press the
ENTER key again. To perform the Fine Span Adjustment, place a calibrated test weight on
the scale, press the numeric key 1/YES (display will change to (*) and then the ENTER
key.
After pressing the ENTER key, the display will change to show the amount of the test weight
and the annunciators will alternately flash off and on i.e. (all ON, weighing unit off, then all
OFF, weighing unit ON). Press the 1/YES to increase the span OR press the 0/NO key to
decrease the span. Press the ASTERISK key to return to the previous prompt or press the
ENTER key to exit *$0 and return to the *;'$ menu.
With the `*$0` prompt displayed after pressing the Calibration switch:
With `*$0 displayed, place a calibrated test weight on the scale and press the ENTER
key. After pressing the ENTER key, the display will change to show the amount of the test
weight and the annunciators will alternately flash off and on (all ON, weighing unit off, then
all OFF, weighing unit ON). Press the 1/YES to increase the span OR press the 0/NO key
to decrease the span. Press the ASTERISK key to return to the previous prompt or press
the ENTER key to exit `*$0 and return to the *;'$ menu.
-`9* - Display High Resolution Weight
With -`9* on the display, pressing the ENTER key will show the active weight in "high
resolution" mode (in 1/10 interval). Press the PRINT key to print the weight (followed by the
text TEST) via the selected printer output port enabled during setup and calibration. Press the
ENTER key to return to the -`9`*`prompt. To exit the -`9`* mode, press the
calibration switch or cycle power (press the ON/OFF key twice).
!66'; - Key Lock Out Function
With !66'; on the display, pressing any key will display !63 (locked) or '0!63
(unlocked) for the current key state. Pressing a locked key during normal operation will results
in a 1/2 second display !63 and the key will be ignored. To exit the !66'; function, press
the calibration switch or cycle power (press the ON/OFF key twice).
NOTE! The menu selections -`9* and !66'; can only be selected using
the calibration switch.
