*-6 (*-6) - Serial Input/Output
With *-6 (*-6) displayed, press the ENTER key. The display will change to show the
current setting 06. To skip configuring the *-6 (serial input/output) and proceed to the
$9-0; menu, press the ENTER key again. To configure the *-6, press the numeric key
1/YES (display will change to (*) and then press the ENTER key. After pressing the ENTER
key, the display will change to 2<3>.
2'3> (Serial Port Baud Rate)
Press the ENTER key to show the current value. If the setting displayed is acceptable, press
the ENTER key again to save it. Otherwise, use the numeric keys to enter a new baud rate for
the serial ports, then press the ENTER key to save it. Allowable values are:
12 = 1200 Baud 24 = 2400 Baud 48 = 4800 Baud
96 = 9600 Baud 19 = 19.2k Baud 38 = 38.4k Baud
76 = 76.8k Baud
$9;=> (Serial Port Parity)
Press the ENTER key to show the current value. If the setting displayed is acceptable, press
the ENTER key again to save it. Otherwise, using the numeric keys enter the new setting,
then press the ENTER key to save it. Allowable values are: 0, 1, or 2.
0 = NONE (No Parity) 1 = Odd Parity 2 = Even Parity
2-;*> (Serial Port Data Bits)
Press the ENTER key to show the current value. If the setting displayed is acceptable, press
the ENTER key again to save it. Otherwise, using the numeric keys enter the new setting,
then press the ENTER key to save it. Allowable values are: 7 or 8.
*;6$> (Serial Port Stop Bits)
Press the ENTER key to show the current value. If the setting displayed is acceptable, press
the ENTER key again to save it. Otherwise, using the numeric keys enter the new setting,
then press the ENTER key to save it. Allowable values are: 1 or 2.

Press the ENTER key to show the current value. If the setting displayed is acceptable, press
the ENTER key again to save it. Otherwise, using the numeric keys, 0/NO or 1/YES, ent
er the
new setting, then press the ENTER key to save it.

Continuous Output No Continuous Output
If 60;>`(* (Continuous Output) is selected, an additional prompt, ;($>
will be displayed.
If 60;>`06 (No Continuous Output) is selected, proceed to the Weight On
Demand section.
