General Operation
1. Select the weight unit you want amount lb/kg -
by pressing the button
2. Place the scale on a flat, hard surface.
Carpeted or uneven floors may affect accuracy. (figure 5)
3. Step on the scale platform and remain still.
The display will count up to your weight.
The display will flash three times when the
weight is locked. Your weight is now displayed.

Important:
1. The maximum capacity of this scale is 400 lbs / 180 kgs. Should (O-Ld) appear on the display during
a weighing, this indicates that the maximum weighing capacity of the scale has been exceeded.
Remove the weight immediately; otherwise, permanent damage may occur.
2. Err = Unstable Weight. Ensure the scale is on a flat, stable surface. Step off and back onto the
scale, standing still while your weight computes.
3. This scale is designed to read weights between 11lbs and 400 lbs / 5kgs and 180 kgs. To prevent
damage, do not place more than 400lbs / 180 kgs.
4. The scale will turn off automatically if no loading in 10 seconds.
5. The scale will turn off automatically if no stable loading in 15 seconds.
6. Scale will go back to zero 5 seconds after you step off of the scale. Once it is at zero, you
can weigh yourself again.
7. Scale will turn off automatically after you step off the scale. Step on again to weigh yourself
another time.
1. Check that the batteries are correctly installed.
2. Check that you have selected your preference of lb/kg.
3. Check whether the scale is on a flat, level floor
and not touching against a wall.
4. Do not step on scale until “0.0” appears.
5. If, when you step on the scale to activate it, there
is no display at all or “Lo” is displayed -
Try new batteries (figure 6)
6. If (O-Ld) is displayed, the scale has been
overloaded. (figure 7)
7. Unstable Weight: (Err)
