• TheAC100AcousticSensormustonlybeinstalledinareaswherethereisalowriskofmechanicaldamage.
• The AC100 is only to be used connected to the ATX10 Acoustic Transmitter or Model STB Sensor Termination Box.
ATX10
• TheATX10mustonlybeinstalledinareaswherethereisalowriskofmechanicaldamage.

Always ensure that the detector/junction box hazardous (classied) location ratings are applicable for the
intended use.
Additional Safety Notes:
• The followingwarning ison theproduct:Warning:Do notopenwhenan explosivegasatmospheremaybe
present. For ambient temperature above 60°C use field wiring suitable for maximum ambient temperature. For
temperature below –10°C use suitable field wiring for the lowest temperature.
• Cable,bushingsandtheconduitentriesshallbeofaameprooftypealreadycertiedaccordingtorelevantIEC
standard, rated IP66, so the protection principle employed will not be impaired.
• Unusedconduitentries shallbeclosedusingameproofstopplugscertiedfortheconditionsofuse(IP66
minimum). The stop plugs should be removable only with the aid of a tool.
• Shieldedcableisrequired.
