Locate the wall studs. Place Shelf against wall and level the shelf. Using a pencil draw
a line on either end of the shelf where you would like to install the pelican brackets.
Remove Shelf.
Adjust set screw in bottom of bracket to release top clamp. Place each bracket
against wall in the desired position (previously marked) and mark holes with a pencil
where holes in bracket meet the wall. Use a level to verify that the holes are straight.
For the marks without a wall stud, use a power drill and a 3/32” drill bit. Drill holes into
the wall at the pencil mark. Insert anchor. Install screws.
Note: If you are drilling into a wall where no studs are available, use the proper
anchors to mount the bracket. Anchors have been provided for this purpose.
Additional drywall anchors may be necessary depending on stud placement.
Place each bracket against the wall aligning the bracket hole with the hole on the
wall. Using a power drill or screwdriver, (for Phillips head screw), drive provided screws
through bracket into studs (or anchors), securing each bracket to wall.
Slide shelf into brackets. Using a screwdriver (for Phillips head screw), tighten set
screws to secure shelf.
