It is important to understand how finished edges go together. Take a moment to lay out all the wood pieces and note the finished and unfinished (raw wood) edges. Arrange pieces so all finished edges are facing the same way.

STEP 1 (H2) B (H1) (H4) (H1) x 6 cam post 1. 2. 3. 6 (H2) x 4 cam lock A (H4) x 4 wide dowel 8mm x 30mm Secure cam posts (H1) into holes as shown. PLEASE NOTE: Cam post is secure when threads on screw are not showing. Insert cam lock (H2) and press to bottom of hole. Ensure arrow on cam lock is pointing towards outer edge as shown. Insert dowels (H4) into holes as shown.
STEP 2 (H1) (H4) E D (H2) C (H1) x 4 cam post 1. 2. 3. (H2) x 10 cam lock (H4) x 2 wide dowel 8mm x 30mm Secure cam posts (H1) into holes as shown. PLEASE NOTE: Cam post is secure when threads on screw are not showing. Insert cam lock (H2) and press to bottom of hole. Ensure arrow on cam lock is pointing towards outer edge as shown. Insert dowels (H4) into outer holes of top shelf (E) as shown.
STEP 3 C B D 1. 2. 8 Align side panel (B) with appropriate holes in bottom shelf (D) and back cleat (C) as shown and install. Tighten cam locks to secure side panel (B) to back cleat (C) and bottom shelf (D).
STEP 4 C A D 1. 2. Align side panel (A) with appropriate holes in bottom shelf (D) and back cleat (C) as shown and install. Tighten cam locks to secure side panel (A) to back cleat (C) and bottom shelf (D).
STEP 5 E B A 1. 2. 10 Align top shelf (E) with appropriate holes as shown and install. Tighten cam locks to secure side panels (A & B) to top shelf.
STEP 6 G (H6) x 20 small nail 1. 2. 3. (H7) x 4 nail-on foot Place back panel (G) onto unit (making sure the finished side of backer faces down) and center horizontally and vertically. Nail the back panel (G) into position using small nails (H6). Avoid angling nails. Gently tap the nail-on feet (H7) approximately 1 in. away from each corner.
STEP 7 G G G G NOTE: Thicker edges of trim should be positioned towards the top and bottom ends of the unit unless stacking, then choose either option 1 or 2 for the adjoining trim preference. option 1 option 2 (H1) x 4 cam post 1. 2. 3. 12 Secure cam posts (H1) into holes as shown. PLEASE NOTE: Cam post is secure when threads on screw are not showing. Flip the unit over so the open side is facing up. Align the cam posts in the trim with the appropriate holes as shown and install.
STEP 8 H H (H3) x 8 shelf pin 1. 2. Push shelf pins (H3) into holes at desired locations. Slide adjustable shelves (H) into frame at a slight angle and position onto shelf pins (H3).
STEP 9 WALL (H11) (H12) (H10) (H9) (H8) x 4 cover cap 1. 2. 3. 4. 14 (H9) x 2 back anchor (H10) x 1 small screw #8 x 1/2 in. Install four cam cover caps (H8) by pressing them into the cam locks as shown Use 1/2 in. screw (H10) to secure back anchor (H9) to top shelf. Place back anchor (H9) against wall stud as shown. Use 1-1/2” screw (H12) to secure back anchor to wall. Secure plastic tie (H11) to prevent unit from tipping. (H11) x 1 nylon zip tie (H12) x 1 long screw #8 x 1-1/2 in.
STEP 10 (H13) x 2 stacking bracket 1. 2. 3. 4. (H14) x 8 medium screw #8 x 7/8 in. NOTE: If stacking this unit, align the units on top of each other as shown. Install stacking brackets (H13) to the back side of the units using the stacking screws (H14). Be sure to center the bracket to the side panels before screwing them in. NOTE: Each unit should be individually secured to the wall using the provided hardware.
