. SAFETY RULES 1. To reduce the risk of electric shock, insure electricity has been turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box before beginning. 8. To avoid personal injury or damage to the fan and other items, be cautious when working around or cleaning the fan. 2. All wiring must be in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local electrical codes. Electrical installation should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician. 9.
. MOUNTING OPTIONS If there isn't an existing CUL listed mounting box, then read the following instructions. Disconnect the power by removing fuses or turning off circuit breakers. Outlet box Secure the outlet box directly to the building structure. Use appropriate fasteners and building materials. The outlet box and its support must be able to fully support the moving weight of the fan (at least 35 lbs). Do not use plastic outlet boxes.
. ATTACHING THE FAN BLADES Blade screws Fiber washers Step 1. Insert the blades through the slots on the fan motor assembly. THIS SIDE UP Step 2. Attach the fan blades to the fan motor assembly using the blade screws and fiber washer and tighten them securely. Blade Step3. Repeat this step with the other blades. Fan motor assemby NOTE: When installing the blades, ensure the sides with “THIS SIDE UP” face the ceiling. CAUTION: Make sure tightened securely.
CUL Listed electrial box 7. HANGING THE FAN REMEMBER to turn off the power. Follow the steps below to hang your fan properly: Ceiling mounting plate Step 1. Pass the 120-volt supply wires through the center hole in the ceiling hanger bracket as shown in Fig. 7. 8. MAKE THE ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS Code switch WARNING: To avoid possible electrical shock, be sure electricity is turned off at the main fuse box before wiring. NOTE: This remote control unit is equipped with 16 code combinations to prevent possible interference from or to other remote units. The frequency switches on your receiver and transmitter have been preset at the factory.
Note: Fan must be installed at a maximum distance of 20 feet from the transmitting unit for proper signal transmission between the transmitting unit and the fan's receiving unit. 9. INSTALLATION OF SAFETY CABLE An additional safety cable is provided to prevent the fan from falling. Secure the safety cable to the ceiling joist with screw and washer, as illustrated in Figure 14. 11. ATTACHING THE 17W LED ASSEMBLY NOTE: Before starting installation, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse at fuse box. Turning power off using the fan switch is not sufficient to prevent electric shock. Step 1. While holding the 17W LED assembly under your fan, firmly snap the wire connection plugs together. 12. INSTALLING THE TRANSMITTER HOLDER Attach the remote control holder with the two remote control holder mounting screws. (Fig.17) Figure 17 13. INSTALLING THE BATTERY Install the 12volt battery into the hand held transmitter (Figure 18) as shown in (Figure 19). Make sure the battery is secure with the matching +/- terminals. 14. The Reverse switch is located on the top housing. Slide the switch to the Down for warm weather operation. Slide the switch to the Up for cool weather operation. Speed settings for warm or cool weather depend on factors such as the room size. Ceiling height, number of fans and so on. Figure 20 NOTE: To operate the reverse function on this fan, press the reverse button while the fan is off. Warm weather - (Forward) A downward airflow creates a cooling effect as shown in Fig. 20.
16. TROUBLESHOOTING Problem Solution Fan will not start. 1. Check main and branch circuit fuses or breakers. 2. Check line wire connections to the fan and switch wire connections in the switch housing. 3. Check to make sure the dip switches from the transmitter and receiver are set to the same frequency. Fan sounds noisy. 1. Make sure all motor housing screws are snug. 2. Make sure the screws that attach the fan blade bracket to the motor hub are tight. 3.

4. OPTIONS DE MONTAGE S'il n'y a pas de boîte de connexion, alors, lisez les instructions suivante. Coupez l'alimentation en retirant les fusibles ou en coupant le disjoncteur. Fixez la boîte de connexion directement sur la structure du bâtiment. Utilisez les matériels de fixation et matériaux appropriés. La boîte de connexion et son support doivent pouvoir supporter le poids du ventilateur en rotation (au moins 35 lbs. - 17.6kg). Utilisez une boîte en métal aux normes CUL.
5. FIXATION DES PALES DU VENTILATEUR Vis de pale Rondelles en fibre Étape 1, Insérez les pales à travers les fentes sur l’ensemble du moteur du ventilateur. THIS SIDE UP Étape 2, Attachez les pales du ventilateur à l’ensemble du moteur du ventilateur en utilisant les vis des pales et la rondelle de fibre et les serrez solidement. Pale Étape 3, Répétez les étapes pour les autres pales. ATTENTION: En installant les lames, assurez les côtés avec « THIS SIDE UP » font face au plafond.

RACCORDEMENTS ELECTRIQUES IInterrupteur à code AVERTISSEMENT: Pour éviter tout risque d'électrocution, assurez-vous que le courant a été coupé sur le tableau électrique principal avant de procéder au câblage. REMARQUE: Cette télécommande est équipée de 16 combinaisons de codes pour éviter toute interférence avec d'autres télécommandes. Les commutateurs de fréquence situés sur votre récepteur et émetteur ont été préréglés en usine.
Remarque: Le ventilateur doit être installé à une distance maximum de 6 mètres (20 pi) de l'appareil transmetteur pour une transmission du signal adéquate entre l'appareil émetteur et le récepteur du ventilateur. 9. INSTALLATION DU CÂBLE DE SÉCURITÉ Un câble de sécurité complementaire est offert pour éviter toute chute du ventilateur. Posez la boucle du cable de sûreté sur la vis à bois et la rondelle plate que vous n'avez pas serrées au préalable.
11. INSTALLATION DE L’ENSEMBLE DE 17W LED REMARQUE: Avant de commencer l'installation, débranchez l'alimentation en coupant le disjoncteur ou en retirant le fusible au tableau de fusibles. Eteindre à l'aide de l'interrupteur du ventilateur n'est pas suffisant pour éviter les électrocutions. Étape 1, En tenant l’assemblage LED 17W sous votre ventilateur, connecter solidement les prises de connection de câble ensemble.
12. INSTALLATION DU SUPPORT DE LA TÉLÉCOMMANDE Attachez le support de la télécommande avec deux vis de montage du support de la télécommandes (Schéma 17). 13. INSTALLATION DE LA PILE Schéma 17 Installez la batterie de 12 volts dans l'émetteur portable (Schéma 18), comme illustré dans la (Schéma 19). Assurez-vous que la batterie est bien fixée avec les correspondants bornes + / -. 14.
Le commutateur d'inversion est situé au boîtier supérieur. Faites glisser le commutateur sur la vers le bas pour l'utilisation par temps chaud. Faites glisser le commutateur sur la en haut pour l'utilisation par temps froid. Les réglages de vitesse pour les températures chaudes et froides dépendent de plusieurs facteurs tels que la taille de la pièce, la hauteur du plafond, le nombre de ventilateurs, u asi sucesivamente.
16. RECHERCHE DES PANNE PROBLÈME SOLUTION Le ventilateur ne démarre pas. 1. Vérifier les fusibles des circuits ou les disjoncteurs. 2. Vérifier les connexions des fils d'alimentation du ventilateur et les connexions des fils d'interrupteur dans le boîtier de l'interrupteur. 3. Vérifiez pour s'assurer que les contacts DIP de l'émetteur et du récepteur sont placés à la même fréquence. Le ventilateur est bruyant. 1.
