4. Should the headlight need to be completely dismantled,
the two screws (1) securing the unit to the cowling need
to be removed, and the unit removed by pushing carefully
through the rear of the cowling.
DISMANTLING THE ENGINE
N.B.:
THERE IS NO NEED TO REMOVE THE ENGINE TO DISMAN-
TLE THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS:
- CYLINDER HEAD
- CYLINDER
- PISTON
- MAGNETO FLYWHEEL
DISMANTLING THE SIDE COVERS AND FUEL TANK
4. Extract:
- FRONT covers
- Rider’s seat.
- Fuel tank

ENGINE OIL
1. Drain:
- Engine oil.
See the “CHANGING ENGINE OIL” section in Chapter 3.
BATTERY
1. Disconnect:
- Battery.
ATTENTION
FIRST DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE CABLE (1) FROM THE
BATTERY AND THEN THE POSITIVE CABLE (2).
