STARTER MOTOR NOT WORKING
PROCEDURES
Check:
1. Main fuse.
2. Battery.
3. Starter motor.
4. Starter relay.
5. Ignition key.
6. Starter switch.
7. Connec tions.
1. Main fuse
- Remove the fuse.
- Connect the Multimeter (Ω x 1) to the fuse.
- Check that there is a circuit in the fuse.
NO CIRCUIT
2. Battery
- Check the condition of the battery.
See the “INSPECTING THE BATTERY” section in
CHAPTER 3.
Minimum voltage:
12 V
INCORRECT
Recharge or renew the battery.
Fuse defective, replace.
