7. Charging coil resistance
- Disconnect the field coil connector from the electrical
system.
- Connect the Multimeter (x 100) to the field coil con-
nector
Terminal (+) Black/Red Terminal
Terminal (-) Green/White Terminal
- Check the resistance of the field coil.
Resistance of the field coil.
730 ± 20 % a 20°C
OUTSIDE THAT SPECIFIED
CONFORMS TO SPECIFICATIONS
Renew field coil.
9. Ignition system connections
- Check all the ignition system connections.
See the “CIRCUIT DIAGRAM”
POOR CONNECTION
CORRECT
Put right.
Replace the DIC unit.
Outside that specified. Renew generating
coil.
8. Generating coil resistance
- Disconnect the generating coil connector from the electrical
system.
- Connect the Multimeter (x 100) to the generating coil con-
nector.
Terminal (+) Green/Blue Terminal.
Terminal (-) Green/White Terminal.
Check the resistance of the generating coil.
Generator coil resistance:
600
± 20% a 20ºC
POOR CONNECTION
CONFORMS TO SPECIFICATIONS
