3. First Time Installation After you have installed the satellite Dish or DVB-T antenna you switch the TV set On with the ON/OFF switch at the right side of the TV set. Press Power button on the remote control. The Power indicator instantaneously changes from red to green. 3.1 Basic Operation: − Press LCD-MENU button to display the MAIN OSD MENU; − Press ◄ / ► button to switch through the different OSD menu, e.g. Channel, Picture, Sound, Time, Lock, Setup Menu.

After you selected the SOURCE, the First step is to set the OSD language required. Push the MENU button on the RCU or TV set to enter the MAIN MENU. In the Main Menu you can use the ◄ / ► button to select one of the next sub Menu’s > CHANNEL, PICTURE, SOUND, TIME, LOCK and SET UP. OSD Language setting you find as sub menu under SET UP. Select with the ◄ / ► button SET UP and push the OK button. Next SET-UP Menu will, be shown on screen >: Select the OSD LANGUAGE with the ▼ / ▲ button and push OK.
To view DVB-T digital TV, you have to push the SOURCE button on the RCU and select DTV with the ▼ / ▲ buttons and then push OK button to confirm. ( DTV = Digital TV > DVB-T is DTV ) 7.1 Channel Menu: Press LCD-MENU button to display the MAIN OSD MENU. Press ◄ / ► button to select the Channel Menu. Press ▼ / ▲ button to enter the sub menu entries. 7.1.1. Auto Tuning: − Select Auto Tuning then press OK or ► button to start auto tuning process.
− − − Select the Current CH for the manual tuned channel to be stored in. Select the TV colour system and sound system. Select whether Auto Frequency Control (AFC) to be on/off. AFC will do minor adjustment for shifted frequency in order to get better tuned picture. − Press ► button while Search is selected to start the manual tuning process. 7.1.4. Programme Edit: − Select Programme Edit then press OK or ► button to enter ATV programme tuning interface.
− Select CI Information then press OK or ► button to enter CI Information interface. − Display the Common Interface card information. Note: Not available in ATV mode. 7.2. Picture Menu: 1. Dynamic CR: − Dynamic contrast ratio function. − Press ► button to select ON/OFF for this function. − This feature allows backlight adjustment to automatically control the black and white level of display. 7.3. Sound Menu: 1. Press LCD-MENU button to display the MAIN OSD MENU. Press ◄ / ► button to select the Sound Menu. Press ▼ / ▲ button to select the option that you want to adjust in the Sound menu, then press OK button or ► button to enter to the sub menu. 7.3.1.
− Select Bass then press OK or ► button to enter Bass sub menu. − Press ◄ / ► button to make the adjustment. − Press OK or LCD MENU button to confirm adjustment and go back to previous menu. 7.3.4. Balance: − Select Balance then press OK or ► button to enter Balance sub menu. − Press ◄ / ► button to make the adjustment. − Press OK or LCD MENU button to confirm adjustment and go back to previous menu. 7.3.5. Auto Volume: − Select Auto Volume then press OK or ► button to turn this feature On/Off.

− Press OK button to confirm selection. Press LCD MENU button to return to previous menu without changes. − Press EXIT button to exit the OSD completely. − Auto Standby function allows TV to go into standby mode if the TV is not operated at all for the duration. i.e. no keypad and remote button is pressed during the interval. 7.4.5. OSD Timer: − Select OSD Timer then press OK or ► button to enter OSD Timer sub menu. − Press ▼ / ▲ button to select the OSD timer you desire.
− The default password is “0000”. − After correct password is entered, the “Block program”, Parental Guidance” and “Key Lock” function will be available for setting. 7.4.2. Set Password: − Select Set Password then press OK or ► button to enter change password interface as seen below. − Enter old password, if the old password is incorrect, the password will not be allowed to be modified. − Enter new password. − Enter new password again at.
− Blocked channel can only be watched when correct password is inserted. 7.5.4. Parental Guidance: − Select Parental Guidance then press OK or ► button to enter Parental Guidance sub menu. − Press ▼ / ▲ button to select the age requirement you desire. You can select from: o − Off/4/5/6/7/8/9/10/11/12/13/14/15/16/17/18 Press OK button to confirm selection. Blue Screen: − Select Blue Screen then press OK or ► button to enable/disable the Blue Screen function.
8. PC Mode OSD Operation: 8.1. Screen Menu: Press LCD-MENU button to display the MAIN OSD MENU. Press ◄ / ► button to select the Screen Menu. Press ▼ / ▲ button to enter the sub menu entries. 8.1.1. Auto Adjust: − Select Auto Adjust then press OK or ► button to auto adjust the PC display. 8.1.2. H-Offset: − Select H-Offset then press OK or ► button to move the PC display horizontally (left/right). 8.1.3. V-Offset: − Select V-Offset then press OK or ► button to move the PC display vertically (up/down).
8.3. Sound Menu: − Same with ATV mode. 8.4. Time Menu: − Same with ATV mode. 8.5. Lock Menu: − Same with ATV mode with the exception of Block Program and Parental Guidance function are unavailable. 8.6. Setup Menu: − Same with ATV mode with the exception of TT Language, Hearing Impaired and PVR File System functions are unavailable. 9.0 AV/SCART/HDMI OSD Operation: 9.1. Picture Menu: − Same with ATV/DTV mode. 9.2. Sound Menu: − Same with ATV mode. 9.3. Time Menu: − Same with ATV mode. 9.4.
10. Media OSD Operation: Plug in the USB drive with the media file into the USB port before operating the Media interface. Select the source as MEDIA. Press ◄ / ► button to select the media format between Photo, Music, Movie and Text. Press OK button to enter the selected media entries. 10.1. Photo Menu: − Select the drive/partition of your USB/hard disk. Normally it is C: drive. − Select the folder where your Photo files are located.
Play - Start the slide show Prev. - Go to previous photo. Next. - Go to next photo. Stop - Stop the slide show and go back to thumbnail view mode. Repeat - RepeatAll: Repeat all the photos in slide show again RepeatNone: No repeat, slide show go back to thumbnail mode after showing all the photos. Music - Repeat 1: Continuously showing current photo, repeating itself. - Play the music in the background. Only music file placed in the same directory with the photo will be played.
FB. - Fast backward, speed of 2x, 4x, 8x and 16x. FF. - Fast forward, speed of 2x, 4x, 8x and 16x. Prev. - Go to previous song. Next. - Go to next song. Stop - Stop the slide show and go back to thumbnail view mode. Repeat - RepeatAll: Repeat all the songs in the playlist/folder. RepeatNone: No repeat, will stop after all the songs in the playlist are played. - Repeat 1: Continuously playing current song, repeating itself.
RepeatNone: No repeat, will stop after all the movies in the playlist are played. - Repeat 1: Continuously playing current movie, repeating itself. Set A/B - Set the movie to repeatedly playing section A to section B. Playlist - Show the playlist of the movies folder. You can use the P+ and P- (channel up/down button) to go to next page and previous page quickly. Info - Show the information of the movie: Resolution, Audio Track, Subtitle, Program and Size.
Stop - Quit reading the text file and go back to previous menu. Music - Play the music in the background. Only music file placed in the same directory with the text file will be played. Playlist - Show the playlist of the text folder. You can use the P+ and P- (channel up/down button) to go to next page and previous page quickly. Info. - Show the size of the text file. 11. DVD Operation 11.1. Basic Operation Switch on the ON/OFF button of the RCU and push the SOURCE button to select DVD mode.
The screen will show next: With the ▼ / ▲ button you can select the desired Picture Modus. If selected PERSONAL and push the OK button, you will enter the Personal Picture setting and the screen will show next > With the ▼ / ▲ button you can select CONTRAST / BRIGHTNESS / COLOUR / SHARPNESS / COLOUR TEMP / NOISE REDUCTION and DYNAMIC CR.
The Contrast setting is shown of current setting ( on picture this is 58% ) If you want to adjust the setting, please push the OK button. Next menu is shown > With the ◄ / ► button you can adjust the contrast setting. Push EXIT to leave the OSD Menu or push MENU button to return to previous menu. 12. REFERENCE 12.1 Cleaning LCD Monitor 1. Please make sure that you have turned off this machine. 2. Do not expose liquid of any kind on the LCD Monitor or plastic box. Please NOTE when cleaning the LCD monitor. 1. Gently wipe the screen with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth to remove dust or other particles that can scratch the screen. 2. To clean the tough areas, use a soft, lint-free cloth with a few drops of water to remove the stubborn dirt. 3.
13. Troubleshooting Please use the following table to resolve the most common possible causes of the problem before calling service personnel. A minor adjustment may eliminate the problem and restore your TV reception. Symptom Corrective Actions Check that power is turned on. Adjust brightness and contrast. No picture screen Check input signal of TFT-LCD. Check the power connection to the unit with screen. Check Main Display selection. Check that Video cable is plugged in.
