ENGLISH Getting Started NOTE Connections Setup Playback • Replace the batteries with new ones if the set does not operate even when the remote control unit is operated close to the unit. • The supplied batteries are only for verifying operation. • When inserting the batteries, be sure to do so in the proper direction, following the “q” and “w” marks in the battery compartment. • To prevent damage or leakage of battery fluid: • Do not use a new battery together with an old one.

ENGLISH Getting Started Connections Connections Connections for all compatible audio signal formats are described in this owner’s manual. Please select the types of connections suited for the equipment you are connecting. With some types of connections, certain settings must be made on the RCD-M37. For details, refer to the instructions for the respective connection items below. Setup NOTE Playback Setting the Timer • Do not plug in the power cord until all connections have been completed.

ENGLISH Getting Started Playback Turning the Power On • Power continues to be supplied to some of the circuitry even when the power is in the standby mode. When leaving home for long periods of time or when traveling, either press ON/STANDBY to turn off the power, or unplug the power cord from the power outlet. • Be sure to stop playback before turning the power off. The volume level is displayed. VOLUME 00 ~ 45, VOLUME MAX Input Source Switching Press SOURCE to select the input source.
