q Beats select knob (BEATS)
Rotate the knob to select the effect beats.
•Press this button for more than 1 second while
holding down Q0 SHIFT to return the beat
settings to the default value.
w Tap button (TAP)
Sets the BPM value used for the effects. Press
this button repeatedly to measure the BPM
value from the interval between presses.
e Effect adjustment knob
Adjusts the effect balance.
r Effects ON/OFF switching button
Switches the effects ON/OFF.
•Hold down Q0 SHIFT and press this button to
select an effect for the slot.
t Channel assign ON / OFF switching button
(CH ASSIGN 1/2/3/4)
y Loop point setting button (IN/OUT) ········· (15)
Sets the loop in point and loop out point.
•Press this button during a loop to make fine
adjustments (trimming) to the loop points
using the jog wheel.
u Auto loop/loop size adjustment buttons
(AUTO LOOP, –/+) ······································ (15)
•AUTO LOOP switches auto loop ON/OFF.
•Use –/+toadjusttheloopsize.
i Hot cue button (HOT CUE 1/2/3/4) ·········· (15)
The following operations differ depending on
whether Q2 SAMPLE are ON or OFF.
•OFF: Sets HOT CUE 1 – 4 points or cue
playback.
•Hold down Q0 SHIFT and press this button to
delete each of the cue point settings.
•ON: Plays back the sample slot. If the sample
is currently being played, playback is started
again from the start of the sample.
•Hold down Q0 SHIFT and press this button to
stop playing the sample slot.
