Auro 9.1 configuration
Auro-3D
®
uses the standard horizontal speaker array as its base, then we
add a height layer directly above those corner speakers at 30 degrees, just
as we do in the theater. As long as you have space directly above the speak-
ers in your surround sound setup you can easily install an Auro-3D
®
height
layer.
Auro 10.1 configuration
There is no need to make holes in your ceiling for extra speakers, although
for larger home theaters, you can install a 3rd layer by adding the top layer
(Voice of God channel) straight above the listening position. The Voice of God
channel is not crucial for music reproduction but adds great eects in films
and gaming i.e. the fly-over eect of a helicopter.
