• Operating the surround mode and surround parameters from the main unit's panel
Trim the SELECT knob to select the surround
mode

Tu select the surround mode while ad}usting the surround parameters, channel volume or tone control,
press the surround mode button then operate the selector

_\ Press and hold in the surround parameter button to select the parameter you want to
set
• The parameters which can be set differ for the different surround modes (Refer to
Mail jnt) "Surround Modes and Parameters" on page 32
Display the parameter you want to adjust, then turn the SELECT knob to set it
NOTE:
• When playing PCM digital sig_lals or a_lalog sig_lals in the DOLBY PRO LOGIC r DTS _O_6 r_d_s _r_d the
i_lput signal switches to a digital signal e_lcoded in Dolby Dgital, the Dolby surround mode switches
automatically Whe_ the input sig_al switches to a DTS sgnal, the mode automatically switches to DTS
surround
• Use the tone control setti_g to adjust the bass and treble as desired
• Tu operate the tone control from the remote control unit
