Operating instructions

• Operating the surround mode and surround parameters frem the main unit's panel.

Turn the SELECT knob to select the surround mode.

-_ To select the surround mede while adjusting the surround parameters or tene centrol, press the surreund mode butten then operate

the selecter.

SURROUND

PARAMETER

Press the SURROUND PARAMETER butten.

Press and hold in the surround parameter butten to select the parameter you want to set.

• The parameters which can be set differ fer the different surround modes. (Refer to "Surreund Medes and

Parameters" on page 81 .)

(Main unit)

Display the parameter you want to adjust, then turn the SELECT knob to set it.

NOTE:

• When playing PCM digital signals or analog signals in the DOLBY PRO LOGIC [Ix, DTS NED:6 modes and the input signal switches to a

digital signal encoded in Delby Digital, the Dolby surround mode switches autematically. When the input signal switches to a DTS signal, the

mode automatically switches to DTS surreund.
