Note: Notebook messages are deleted one at a time. Storing to notebook is not activated when it is full.
Maildrop/Information Service
Your pager has eight Maildrop areas (Each area has four rooms for storing maildrop messages).
-Reading Messages in Your Maildrop
From the Message Read Menu Screen, press#or! to move the cursor to .
Maildrop messages are read the same way as personal messages.
-Turning Maildrop Alerts On and Off
From the Function Menu Screen, press#or! to move the cursor to alert on
or alert off.
Press to turn the maildrop alert on or off.
Setting the Incoming Message Alert
From the Function Menu, press #or! to move the cursor to , or (current setting).
Press to change the type of alert (audible, vibrate or silent).
Note: The current Alert setting ( , , ) is also displayed on the pager status line.
-Setting the Alert Pattern (Tone or Melody)
From the Function Menu, press # to move the cursor to .
Press to display the Select Melody screen.
Press #or ! to move the cursor to desired number.
Press to listen the melody or tone.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 to select another pattern.
Setting the Time and Date
From the Function Menu, press! to move the cursor to .
Press to display the Set Time/Date screen.
Press #or ! to adjust the hour.
Press to move the cursor to next set of digits.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 to adjust minutes, day/month(or month/day)/year/week.
Press " to activate the time and date setting.
Setting the Alarm
From the Function Menu, press! to move the cursor to or .
Press to display the Set Alarm screen.
Press #or ! to enable or disable alarm.
Press to move the cursor to alarm hour.
Press #or ! to adjust the hour.
Repeat for minutes.
Press " to activate the alarm setting.
Note: If alarm is on, the symbol is displayed on the pager status line.
Setting the Auto Power On/Off
From the Function Menu, press! to move the cursor to or .
Press to display the Set Auto Power On/Off screen.
Press #or ! to enable or disable auto-power-on/off.
Press to move the cursor to auto-off hour digits.
Press #or ! to adjust the hour of auto-off time.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 to adjust the minutes and auto-on time .
Press " to activate the auto-power-on/off setting.
