Cleaning the iron
CAUTION
Do not clean the iron with metal sponges, abrasive or scratching detergents.
These could damage the soleplate.
z Wipe the iron with a slightly dampened cloth.
z Stains can also be removed from the soleplate with a slightly dampened cloth.
z For further care of the soleplate, you can use commercially available care products
(available from specialist retailers).

The appliance does not work. - Plug inserted in socket?
No water discharged when
spraying/no steam discharge.
- Temperature control knob is set too low or steam
controller is set too high, see from page 11.
- The steam shot function was used too many times in a
row. Shoot steam a maximum of 3 times directly after
one another.
The steam iron is making clicking
noises
- The anti-drip function is active, see page 14. Not a fault.
