Before you start
Handling liquids in relation to electrical appliances requires carful attention! A
frequent cause of household accidents is a lack of attention during routine activities.
Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, please ensure that the electrical
voltage specified on the rating plate corresponds to that of your socket.
The mains plug must fit in the socket. It must not be modified.
In order to avoid overloading your mains network, you should not connect any other appli-
ances with high power consumption together with the Egg Cooker in the same socket.
Check the appliance, cable and accessories regularly for damage. Do not operate the
appliance if the heating bowl, power cable or mains plug display visible damage or if
the appliance has been dropped. Never try to open or repair the appliance yourself.
Send a defective appliance to your service centre in order to have it inspected or
repaired, please call the number below.
If the power cable of this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the same type
of mains cable with the same values, in order to avoid hazards. Please contact the
service centre or a specialist deal in this regard.
In order to disconnect the appliance from the mains, always pull the mains plug out of
the socket. Never pull on the cable. Never touch the plug with wet hands.
Never allow the cable to come into contact with hot surfaces or sharp edges. Ensure
that it does not become a trip hazard and is not bent or trapped.
When using an extension cord, ensure that this corresponds to the output of the Egg
Cooker.
Additional protection is provided by a residual-current circuit breaker in the house
installation. Get your electrician advise.
Children do not recognise hazards that can occur when handling the Egg Cooker.
Therefore, keep children away from the appliance.
