Use: baking crepes
For useful information regarding the crepe and a basic recipe, see page 11 of these
instructions further below.
1. Prepare the batter.
2. Place the base of the Crepe Maker on an even, heat-resistant surface and place the
baking plate on the base.
3. Insert the power plug into a power outlet.
The red control light indicates that the device is being supplied with electricity.
4. Turn the temperature controller to the desired baking stage.
As soon as the green control light is illuminated, you may commence baking the crepes.
5. Give the batter centrically on the hot baking plate.
Approximately 2/3 of the baking plate should be covered with batter.
6. Briefly dip the batter spreader that is provided into water.
7. With the batter spreader, distribute the batter evenly and thinly on the heated baking
surface. Without pressure, apply the batter spreader on the batter in the center of the
baking plate, and spread the batter in a circular movement towards the edge.
8. With the crepe turner, turn the batter after some 60 seconds (depends on the desired
degree of browning). After an additional 60 seconds, the crepe is finished.
CAUTION - material damage
Do not cut the crepes on the baking plate. If you coat and garnish the crepes make
sure that the crepe does not burn on the bottom.
9. Slide the crepe turner under the crepe, lift the crepe and put it on a plate.
After doing this, you can prepare the next crepe.
Baking crepes slowly/keeping crepes warm
X Baking crepes slowly: Set the temperature control knob to 2. The baking time will then
amount to approx. 90 seconds (depending on the required degree of browning).
X Keeping baked crepes warm: Set the temperature control knob to 1.
