These diamond knife sharpeners are the most
efficient tools for putting a keen edge on all
non-serrated knives. Round profiles ensure a
single point of contact with the blade and a
long sweeping motion during sharpening pro-

Japanese Waterstones are great to keep tool
edges sharp -- woodworkers of all skill levels
are turning to them. This is because water-
stones cut more aggressively, and a sharp
edge can be achieved much faster. Waterstones
also polish as they hone, allowing a mirror finish without the need for stopping
or polishing compounds. Only water is needed to lubricate the cutting edge.
