The Macro Connector wi ll be used to form a
ring between all the MAC RO components of
the system .
For RJ -45 connector , standard CA T -5 or CA T -
6 cables with standard RJ -45 connecti on can
be used to form the ring .
For FIB E R option , fi ber cable wi th S C - styl e
connectors i s used as communication medium
between the MA CRO stati ons
E thernet connecti on can be used either for
communication betw een the unit and a P C as
user interface or with MODB US option it can
be configured as MODB US MA S TE R or
S LA V E for expandi ng the control soluti on .
US B connecti on can be used either for
communication betw een the unit and a P C as
user interface .
FIE LDB US connector gets connected directly
to the Hilscher module inside the unit and the
S yCon software for setti ng up the module
The FIE LDB US connector is the main
connector between the Hilscher module and
the optional FieldB us network . P lease check
the pi n out confi guration section careful ly .
S erial Connecti on (RS -
232 ) can be used to tal k to
the CP U directly. S ince the
parser on this port can be
turned off , i t can also be
used for communicati ng to
the 3
rd
party devices over
RS- 232
