Screencasting with a Mobile Device
1. Power on the projector. Refer to the Powering On/Off the Projector section on
page 17.
2. Connect the projector to a Wi-Fi network. Refer to the Connecting to a Wi-Fi
Network section on page 20.
3. Connect your mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network as the projector.
4. For iOS devices open the AirPlay menu on your mobile device.
For Android devices open the Screencasting menu on your mobile device.
5. Select the projector from the AirPlay/Screencasting menu on your mobile device.
Your mobile device’s screen will be displayed on the projector.
NOTE:
Screencasting only works on the iOS devices with AirPlay capabilities, and Android
devices with Google Cast capabilities.
NOTE:
In situations where a normal Wi-Fi network is not available (for instance in an
outdoors setting) you may use Wi-Fi hotspots to connect devices to your projector
wirelessly for screencasting purposes:
For iOS devices activate the device’s Wi-Fi hotspot, connect the projector to the
device’s hotspot via the steps in the Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network section on
page 20.
For Android devices activate your projector’s Wi-Fi hotspot via the
Connectivity > Wi-Fi > Portable hotspot menu and then connect the Android
device to the projector’s Wi-Fi signal.
