Room unit mounting Connection The room unit must be installed at a height of around 1.5 m, within arm’s reach to use the device. Remove the batteries’ protective tabs. To mount the unit on the wall, it must be separated from its support. To do so, unlock the casing, then separate the thermostat from its base. Unscrew the terminal box cover and lift it up as high as it will go to block it, then position the base on the wall running the wires out through the hole in the cover.
Connection Starting up Example 2: output S1 controls the change-over. The S2 output controls the thermostat’s input. Configuration Basic configurations (menu 1) To go to the configuration menus: Press button 1, , then press and hold the i button for 5 seconds. - Turn the knob to 5 sec. The unit will propose 2 configurations to choose from: To change the various settings, press the + or buttons, then press OK to confirm the change and go to the next setting. Unit version Weekly (by default) Basic configurations Advanced configurations After each menu has been configured, the unit returns to the choice of menus.
Basic configurations (menu 1) Choice of heat pump type Reversible heat pump (by default) (Heat and Cool) Advanced configurations (menu 2) Press button 2. Non-reversible heat pump (Heat only) With thermostatic valve electric heating or hot water heaters, the Comfort temperature can be provided by adjusting the thermostat of each radiator. In this case, only Economy and Frost Protection temperatures are set by the TYBOX.
Advanced configurations (menu 2) Correction of the measured temperature. Correction possible from -5°C to +5°C in increments of 0.1°C. Press the + or - buttons to make changes, and confirm with the OK button. If there is a difference between the temperature noted (thermometer) and the temperature measured and displayed by the unit, function 2-02 modifies the way the probe takes measurements so as to compensate for this difference. Return to the factory configuration Returning to the factory configuration is possible for each of the menus. Turn the knob to , then press and hold the i button for 5 seconds. Press the button of the menu you wish to rest, and hold the button for 5 seconds (example for menu 1). Then press the OK button to confirm the reset. Follow the same steps for the other menus. To exit the mode, turn the knob to another mode.

Troubleshooting Nothing is displayed on the room unit screen. There is no power supply. Check the batteries. When setting the time, there is no option to set the day. You are in daily programming mode. To switch to weekly programming, refer to the installation guide or contact your installer or our customer service department. Your heating system is in Frost-Protection mode. The thermostat is in the , , PROG or position. The indication is displayed. The batteries are low.
