Fundamental safety warnings

Danger of electric shock!

This is an electrical appliance and may cause electric shock.

You should therefore follow these safety warnings:

• Nevertouchtheappliancewithdamphands.

• Neverusetheappliancewithbareorwetfeet.

• Neverimmersetheapplianceinwater.

• Models with cable wind button (A8): do not pull the

powercableout beyondthepoint indicatedbythe red

markonthecable.

 Theyellowmarkbeforetheredmarkindicatesthatthe

cableisabouttorunout.

• Neverunplugtheappliancebypullingthepowercableor

the appliance itself.

• Ifthesocketandpowercableplugareincompatible,the

socketshouldbechangedforasuitabletypebyaquali-

edprofessional.Adapters,multiplesocketsorextensions

shouldnotbeused.

Tollortopupwithwater,turntheironing

system o using the switch, then unplug

from the mains.

• Ifthepowercableisdamaged,itmustbereplacedbythe

manufacturerorthemanufacturer’scustomerservicesin

ordertoavoidallrisk.

• Before using the appliance, check that the mains

supply voltage corresponds to the voltage indica-

ted on the rating plate. Connect the appliance to

an eciently earthed power supply and sockets

with a minimum current rating of 10 A only.

Troubleshooting en PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION The appliance does not come on. The appliance is not plugged into a mains socket. Make sure the appliance is correctly connected and press the button (C7). Steam leaks from under the steam generator. The maximum pressure safety system has tripped. Turn the appliance off immediately and contact the manufacturer’s customer services. Water leaks out from the holes in the bottom of the soleplate.
