ITALIANO Cosa sono Pinguino e SuperPinguino N ella stagione estiva, le condizioni di benessere sono raggiunte con una temperatura compresa tra i 24 e i 27°C e con una umidità relativa attorno al 50%. Il climatizzatore è una macchina che sottrae umidità e calore dall’ambiente in cui è collocata. Rispetto ai modelli da installazione, i climatizzatori portatili hanno il vantaggio di poter essere spostati da una stanza all’altra di una casa, e di essere trasferibili da un edificio all’altro.

In genere vicino una finestra o una porta. In ogni caso vicino ad una parete perimetrale. ITALIANO Le funzioni PROGRAMMAZIONE DEL TIMER Il timer vi permette di impostare l’accensione o lo spegnimento ritardato dell’apparecchio; questa impostazione eviterà sprechi di energia elettrica ottimizzando i periodi di funzionamento. Programmazione dello spegnimento • A condizionatore acceso, premere il tasto TIMER: il display visualizza le ore e il simbolo “h” lampeggia. Impostare il tempo di spegnimento desiderato agendo sui tasti (da 30 minuti a 24 ore).
Consigli COLLEGAMENTO ELETTRICO Prima di collegare la spina alla presa di corrente, bisogna verificare che: • la tensione di rete sia conforme al valore indicato nella targa caratteristiche posta sul retro della macchina; • la presa e la linea di alimentazione elettrica siano dimensionate per sopportare il carico richiesto; • la presa sia del tipo adatto alla spina, altrimenti far sostituire la presa stessa; • la presa sia collegata con un efficace impianto di terra.
Prima di ogni operazione di pulizia o di manutenzione, spegnete l’apparecchio premendo il tasto “OFF” sul telecomando e staccate sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente. PULIZIA Vi suggeriamo di pulire l’apparecchio con un panno che sia soltanto inumidito ed asciugare con un panno asciutto. Per motivi di sicurezza non lavate il climatizzatore con acqua. Precauzioni Mai usare benzina, alcool o solventi per la pulizia. Mai spruzzare liquido insetticida o simili.
Se qualcosa non funziona… SE QUALCOSA NON FUNZIONA Se qualcosa non funziona, a volte si tratta di piccoli problemi che voi stessi potrete facilmente risolvere. Verificare quindi con attenzione queste brevi indicazioni prima di rivolgervi al Centro di Assistenza Tecnica Autorizzato che opera nella vs. zona.

Compared with installed models, portable air conditioning units have the advantage that they can be moved from one room to another in the home or be transported from one building to another. Hot air from the room is passed through a coil cooled by refrigerant gas. Excess heat and moisture are removed before the air is re-emitted into the room.
Pre p a r i n g f o r u s e POSITIONING THE INDOOR UNIT USING THE QUICK COUPLINGS Install the appliance inside the room being air-conditioned. In general, near a window or door. In any case, near a perimeter wall. The indoor unit must be positioned on an even surface, where possible on a table, or other piece of furniture (see Figures 1 and 2). There must be no obstructions to the air intake (rear grilles 6 ) and outlet (top outlet grille 3 )on the indoor unit.

RECONNECTING THE SHEATH To reconnect the ends of the connecting sheath to the indoor unit, repeat operations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 in reverse order, observing the following precautions: • Before passing the sheath through the hole in the wall, the threaded ends of the quick couplings should be protected using the brass cap supplied or paper tape.

The remote control REMOTE CONTROL Note: WE SUGGEST USING ALKALINE BATTERIES (LR03). 1 ENGLISH Inserting the batteries • Slide the cover as shown in figure. • Insert two new batteries (not rechargeable) making sure the (+) and (-) are in the correct positions. • Put the cover back on. 2 If the remote control is to be replaced or thrown away, the batteries must be removed and disposed of in accordance with the current laws as it represents an environmental hazard.

Functions AIR-CONDITIONING MODE Press the button to turn the appliance on. A beep indicates that the air-conditioning unit is on and the symbol flashes on the display • Press the MODE button a number of times until the air-conditioning symbol appears on the display. • Now set the temperature using the buttons. • To select fan speed, press the FAN button repeatedly until the required fan speed is selected (automatic, high, medium, low).
Functions SMART MODE In SMART mode, the air-conditioning unit decides the best way to operate to guarantee maximum comfort. • Press the button to turn the appliance on. A beep indicates that the air-conditioning unit is on and the symbol flashes on the display. • Press the SMART button. The appliance functions automatically and the symbol appears on the display. NB: in SMART mode, temperature is controlled automatically.
Functions PROGRAMMING THE TIMER Programming the turn-off function • With the air-conditioning unit on, press the TIMER button. The time is displayed and the "h" symbol flashes. Set the time when you want the appliance to go off using the buttons (from 30 minutes to 24 hours). • Press the TIMER button again to confirm the selection. A countdown of the time left is displayed. • At the end of the set time the appliance goes off automatically. During the first ten hours, you can select half hour intervals.
Tips ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS Before plugging the appliance into the mains socket, check that: • the mains power supply corresponds to the value indicated on the rating plate on the rear of the appliance; • the mains socket and electrical circuit are adequate for the load; • the mains socket matches the plug. If this is not the case, have the plug replaced; • the mains socket is adequately earthed. Failure to follow these important safety instructions absolves the manufacturer of all liability.
Before cleaning or maintenance, turn the appliance off by pressing the “OFF” button on the remote control ON/OFF and always unplug the appliance from the mains socket. START OF SEASON CHECKS CLEANING END OF SEASON OPERATIONS You should clean the appliance with a slightly damp cloth then dry with a dry cloth. For safety reasons, never wash the air conditioning unit with water. Before moving the appliance, empty the pan by holding the button 8 on the appliance until hearing the “gurgling” of the pump.

Conseils RACCORDEMENT ÉLECTRIQUE Avant de brancher la fiche sur la prise de courant, vérifiez si: • la tension du secteur correspond à celle indiquée sur la plaque signalétique au dos de l’appareil ; • la prise et la ligne d'alimentation électrique peuvent supporter la charge requise ; • la prise est appropriée à la fiche de l'appareil, autrement faites-la remplacer ; • la prise est reliée à une mise à la terre efficace.
Nettoyage NETTOYAGE Nous vous conseillons de nettoyer l'appareil avec un simple chiffon humide et de l’essuyer avec un chiffon sec. Pour des raisons de sécurité, ne nettoyez jamais le climatiseur avec de l’eau. Précautions N’utilisez jamais d’essence, ni d’alcool, ni de solvant pour le nettoyage. Ne vaporisez jamais de liquide insecticide ou similaire.
Si quelche chose ne marche pas... SI QUELQUE CHOSE NE MARCHE PAS … Si quelque chose ne marche pas, il s’agit parfois de petits problèmes que vous pouvez très bien résoudre vous-même. Suivez attentivement ces quelques indications avant de contacter le Centre de Service opérant dans votre zone.

Eigenschaften der Klimageräte Pinguino und SuperPinguino I m Sommer wird das Wohlbefinden bei einer Temperatur zwischen 24 und 27°C und einer relativen Feuchte von etwa 50 % erreicht. Die warme Luft Ihres Raumes durchläuft eine Batterie, die durch ein Kühlgas gekühlt wird. Auf diese Weise gibt sie übermäßige Wärme und Feuchtigkeit ab, bevor sie wieder in den Raum zurückgeleitet wird.

Ratschläge ELEKTRISCHER ANSCHLUSS Bevor Sie den Netzstecker an der Steckdose anschließen, Folgendes überprüfen: • ob die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Typenschild angegebenen Spannung übereinstimmt; das Typenschild ist auf der Rückseite des Gerätes angebracht; • ob die Strombelastung der Steckdose und des Stromnetzes der des Gerätes entspricht; • ob der Gerätestecker für die Steckdose geeignet ist. Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein, lassen Sie ihn auswechseln; • ob die Steckdose einwandfrei geerdet ist.
