PREPARATIONS FOR USE
What water to use
The appliance works with normal tap water.
Important!
Never use other types of water, chemical sub-
stancesordetergents(e.g.perfumedwater,es-
sences,watersoftener,etc).
Setting water hardness
Theironingsystemisttedwitharesinlimesca-
lelterinthetank,enablingnormaltapwaterto
beused.
The resins reduce water hardness and therefore
prolong the working life of the appliance.
Theltermustberegeneratedorreplacedwhen
the FILTER light on the appliance control panel
comes on. To customise the warning according
tothewaterused,proceedasfollows:
• checkthehardnessofyourwaterusingthe
indicator paper Iprovided:
- dipthepaperinthewaterfor1second,
- shaketoremoveexcesswater;
- waitfor1minute;
- compare the result with the following
table to conrm the hardness of your
water.
0 - 9 °F
10 - 18 °F
19 - 36 °F
36 °F
