PREPARATIONS FOR USE
What water to use
The appliance works with normal tap water.
Important!
Never use other types of water, chemical sub-
stancesordetergents(e.g.perfumedwater,es-
sences,watersoftener,etc).
Setting water hardness
Theironingsystemisttedwitharesinlimesca-
lelterinthetank,enablingnormaltapwaterto
beused.
The resins reduce water hardness and therefore
prolong the working life of the appliance.
Theltermustberegeneratedorreplacedwhen
the FILTER light on the appliance control panel
comes on. To customise the warning according
tothewaterused,proceedasfollows:
• checkthehardnessofyourwaterusingthe
indicator paper Iprovided:
- dipthepaperinthewaterfor1second,
- shaketoremoveexcesswater;
- waitfor1minute;
- compare the result with the following
table to conrm the hardness of your
water.
0 - 9 °F
10 - 18 °F
19 - 36 °F
36 °F
