Prerequisites

1. Remove the base cover.

2. Remove the solid-state drive.

3. Remove the I/O-board interposers.

4. Remove the battery.

5. Remove the heat sink.

6. Remove the fans.

7. Remove the speakers.

8. Remove the coin-cell battery.

9. Remove the display assembly.

10. Remove the I/O board.

11. Remove the power button with fingerprint reader.

12. Remove the system board.

Procedure

After performing all the pre-requisites, we are left with the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
