Replacing the fans

Procedure

1. Align the screw holes on the fans with the screw holes on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

2. Route the coin-cell battery cable through the routing guides on the fans.

3. Replace the four screws (M2x3) that secure the fans to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

4. Connect the fan cable to the system board.

Post-requisites

1. Replace the I/O-board interposers.

2. Replace the base cover.
