Prerequisites

1. Remove the base cover.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Remove the solid-state drive.

4. Disconnect the wireless card.

5. Remove the speakers.

6. Remove the coin-cell battery.

7. Remove the touch pad.

8. Remove the display assembly.

9. Remove the system board.

10. Remove the keyboard.

Procedure

After performing all the prerequisites, we are left with the palm-rest assembly.
