Removing the display assembly

Prerequisites

1. Remove the base cover.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Disconnect the wireless card.

Procedure

1. Peel off the tape that secures the display cable to the hard-disk plate.

2. Remove the two screws (M1.6x2.5) securing the display cable bracket to the system board

3. Lift the display cable bracket off the display cable.

4. Using the pull tab, disconnect the display cable from the system board.

5. Disconnect the touch-screen cable from the system board.

6. Disconnect the camera cable from the system board.
