Removing the touchpad

Prerequisites

1. Remove the base cover.

2. Remove the battery.

Procedure

1. Open the cable latch on the touch pad.

2. Disconnect and remove the cable from the touch pad.

3. Remove the two screws (M2x2) that secure the touch pad to the palm-rest assembly, then lift the touch pad from the inner edge and

remove it from the palm-rest assembly.
