NOTE: In Acropolis base (AOS) 4.5, a new web-based clustering tool called Nutanix Foundation CVM replaces the earlier
used cluster initialization page (deprecated). Nodes with Acropolis base (AOS) 4.5 or later installed in factory uses
Nutanix Foundation CVM for initial deployment while those installed with NOS prior to Acropolis base (AOS) 4.5 will
continue to use the traditional cluster initialization page.
Congure Nutanix storage cluster using hypervisor management GUI

Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV):
Create storage pool and containers through the Nutanix web console.
Create, deploy, and manage virtual machines through the Nutanix web console.

NOTE: The applaince is not included in the hypervisor management conguration as it participates in the storage cluster but is
not available as a compute resource.
Default cluster credentials
The default cluster credentials for the system dier from those stated at the beginning of all Nutanix documentation. See the following
table for default cluster credentials, which are specic to the appliance.
