Before you begin
CAUTION: It is important that you perform all the steps in this guide prior to doing other configuration steps.
Make sure that the following items are available:
• Power cables
• Network cables — optical and/or copper (Intel SFP+ or Category 6 Ethernet)
• Rail kit
• Nutanix documentation — Setup Guide and Advanced Setup Guide

Configuración de su Dell XC730xd para usarlo por
primera vez
1. Asegúrese de que los componentes del sistema estén instalados correctamente.
El sistema se entrega con unidades de disco físico, unidades de sistemas de alimentación (PSU) y componentes del ventilador ya
instalados. Asegúrese de que todos los componentes estén correctamente colocados y que no se hayan desalojado y/o dañado
durante el envío.
2. Instale Dell XC730xd en un bastidor.
Dell XC730xd requiere un bastidor compatible y un kit de instalación del bastidor. Para obtener información sobre la instalación de los
rieles para Dell XC730xd, consulte la Rack Installation Instructions Guide (Guía de instrucciones de instalación del bastidor) que se
envió con el sistema.
3. Cablee su solución según el diagrama de cableado de las prácticas recomendadas que se muestra aquí.
NOTA:
Como mínimo, existen tres servidores Dell XC730xd en un clúster. Cada Dell XC730xd se conoce como un
nodo.

NOTA:
La configuración preferida (práctica recomendada) es conectar el puerto de administración en los tres nodos
