ネットワークドーターカードの取り付け
注意: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only perform
troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as directed
by the online or telephone service and support team. Damage due to servicing that is not
authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that
came with the product.
1. RJ-45 コネクタが背面パネルのスロットに入る角度にカードを傾けます。
2. カード後端のネジをシステム基板上のネジソケットに合わせます。
3. カードコネクタがシステム基板コネクタにしっかり固定されるまで、カードのタッチポイントを押しま
す。
4. #2 プラスドライバを使用して、ネットワークドーターカードをシステム基板に固定する 2 本のネジを
締めます。
5. 必要に応じて、拡張カードライザー 2 に拡張カードを取り付けます。
6. システムカバーを取り付けます。
7. システムおよびシステムに接続されているすべての周辺機器をコンセントに接続し、電源を入れます。
プロセッサ
次の作業は下記の手順に従って行ってください。
• 追加のプロセッサの取り付け
• プロセッサの交換
メモ: 適切なシステム冷却を確実にするため、空のプロセッサソケットにはプロセッサダミーおよびヒ
ートシンクダミーを取り付ける必要があります。

1. システムをアップグレードする前に、dell.com/support/home から最新バージョンのシステム BIOS を
ダウンロードし、圧縮されたダウンロードファイルに含まれている手順に従ってシステムにアップデー
トをインストールします。
メモ: システム BIOS のアップデートは Dell Lifecycle Controller を使用して行います。
2. システムおよび接続されているすべての周辺機器の電源を切り、システムをコンセントから外します。
システムを電源から外したら、電源ボタンを 3 秒間押し続け、残っている電気を排出してからカバーを
取り外します。
3. システムカバーを取り外します。
4. 冷却用エアフローカバーを取り外します。
警告: The heat sink and processor are hot to the touch for some time after the system has
been powered down. Allow the heat sink and processor to cool before handling them.
