1.11 Driver support
Driver support varies between the Hypervisor vendors.
• Microsoft support requires the Dell driver to match the Dell Firmware. These drivers can be found at
support.dell.com.
• VMware releases have the specific drivers required packaged in the Dell Customized ISO. These
customized Dell ESXi ISOs are qualified on all generations of XC systems. The list of qualified Dell
Customized ISOs can be found on the Nutanix portal under Hypervisor details.
• AHV is managed by Nutanix.
Note: VMware vSphere Update manager will flag the HBA LSI2008 as unknown device on the XC6320. This
HBA is not managed by the Hypervisor, only by the Controller Virtual Machine (CVM). You can safely ignore.
