NOTE: The PCIE_G3_X8 and PCIE_G3_X16 are the two dierent types of risers supported on XC430 Xpress. You can install an

expansion card on the system board only using expansion-card riser.

NOTE: The expansion cards are not hot-swappable.

Removing the expansion card riser

Prerequisites

1 Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.

2 Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.

Steps

Holding the touch points, lift the expansion card riser from the riser connector on the system board.
