Table 244. Upgrading rmware settings
Option Description
Enable live upgrade Select this option to enable the live upgrade process. This feature
allows you to download and apply the rmware immediately after
downloading. The system automatically restarts and the changes to
Enable live upgrade are applied. If you disable this feature, the
rmware is downloaded to the system but not installed. The system
waits till next restart to apply the rmware.
Firmware to auto-deploy The list of rmware les uploaded on the File Repository Inventory
page is loaded. From the drop-down list select the rmware le to
upgrade the thin client. The security level must be set to High
Security Environment.
Conguring remote connection settings
Use the Remote Connection page to congure the remote connection settings.

Option Description
Session Connection Type From the drop-down list, select the connection type. The available
connection types are:
• View Connection Server
• PCoIP Connection Server
Based on the selected connection type, the conguration option
changes.
Mode From the drop-down list, select the session type. The available
session types are:
• Basic
• Auto-Logon
• Kiosk
• Imprivata OneSign
Host Name or IP Address Enter the DNS name or IP Address. This option is applicable when
the connection type is View Connection Server and the session
types are Basic, Auto-Logon, and Kiosk.
Server URI Enter the Uniform Resource identier (URI) for the PCoIP
Connection Manager. The address must be in the following
format:
https://[hostname]|[IP Address]
This option is applicable when the connection type is PCoIP
Connection Server, and the session types are Basic or Auto-
Logon.
Logon Username Enter the username of the client. The username must be a
maximum of 128 characters. This option is applicable when the
connection types are View Connection Server or PCoIP
Connection Server, and the session type is Auto-Logon.
