NOTE: For ThinOS Lite devices, you must create a xen.ini file with the same INI parameters that are listed in the
table.
2. Place the wnos.ini file in the C:\inetpub\ftproot\Rapport\WTOSCONFIG\WNOS folder of the Wyse Device Manager
(WDM) server.
NOTE:
The group token information is not needed for ThinOS v8.5-based devices. The device registers to the default
policy group, and the group token is automatically updated in the Wyse Device Agent user interface.
3. Log in to WDM Web UI, and on the Wyse ThinOS page, enable the WTOS INI path upon checkin option.
NOTE:
If you are using WDM Microsoft management console (MMC), navigate to Configuration Manager and enable
this option.
4. Restart the device using WDM.
Switch ThreadX 5.x devices from WDM to Wyse
Management Suite
Before you migrate ThreadX 5.x devices, ensure that you have upgraded the EM SDK package to the latest version. For more information,
see Prerequisites for Teradici-based device migration. To switch ThreadX 5.x devices from WDM to Wyse Management Suite, do the
following:
1. Log in to Wyse Management Suite.
2. Go to Portal Administration, and click Teradici in the Console Settings section.
3. Select the check box that corresponds to the Teradici server, and click Enable Server.
4. Click Sync Devices.
The devices that are registered to the EM SDK server get registered to the Wyse Management Suite server.
