Dell OptiPlex 7070 Ultra Conversion
Prerequisites
● DCA Enabler version 1.1 or 1.0 is required to convert Ubuntu 18.04 on Dell OptiPlex 7070 Ultra device to Dell Hybrid Client.
● If DCA Enabler version 1.0 is installed on your device, you must upgrade it to 1.1. To upgrade DCA Enabler, you must register
the device to Wyse Management Suite 3.1 and push the DCA_Enabler_ Package 1.1.0-17 to the device using Wyse
Management Suite and then deploy DCA-Enabler 1.1.0-17.
Steps
1. Register the device to Wyse Management Suite using DCA Enabler 1.1.
2. Reimage your OptiPlex 7070 Ultra device—see Reimage your Dell Hybrid Client.
You can schedule an application policy to deploy Dell Hybrid Client Package. For more information, see Create and deploy
standard application policy to Dell Hybrid Clients
NOTE: To deploy standard application policy to Dell Hybrid Client devices, you must upload the latest Dell Hybrid Client
1.1 or 1.0 bundle to the local or remote repository.
