 Unified Agent
o Simplified installer for all windows devices with less installation time.
o Installer size is reduced.
o Unified Wyse Device Agent is a single .exe file for all windows devices—X64, X86,
and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise.
o Unified Agent is a single agent for thin clients, and the IoT devices.
 Wyse software thin client support
o Wyse Device Agent 14.0.0.237 supports the Wyse software thin client.
o The Wyse software thin client configurations are similar to Windows Embedded
Standard.
Note: BIOS settings are not supported, and imaging capability is not present.
 Dell Easy setup support
o Wyse Device Agent 14.0.0.237 supports the Dell Easy setup configurations.
o Dell Easy setup application can be upgraded from Wyse Management Suite.
Note: Dell Easy setup should be installed at the device.
 RSP package support
o Wyse Device Agent 14.0.0.237 supports the RSP execution from Wyse Management
Suite.
o RSP application installation and RSP commands are supported.
 Windows Embedded Standard configuration enhancements
o Added Keyboard >MS Gina Keyboard Layout
o Added Browser and Firewall >Proxy Server Exclusion List.
 VMware Blast Protocol support
o Wyse Device Agent 14.0.0.237 supports the VMware Blast Protocol configuration.
 Heartbeat and Check-in - V2
o Heartbeat and Check-in interval is configurable from the Server.
o Agent performs the Heartbeat/Check-in based on the configured values.
 CA Validation for File Repository
o Agent reads the CA validation flag for file download.
o CA validation is not applied for imaging.
 Automatic domain join
o Devices can be joined to a Domain or Workgroup from Wyse Management Suite.
Note: Domain joining configuration requires three reboots.
 Windows Embedded Standard VNC settings
o VNC server settings can be set from the Wyse Management Suite.
o Server sends Enable VNC, Use Prompt, User Required Password, and Password to
the device as part of device configuration.
Note: VNC settings configuration requires three reboots.
