Introduction
Dell Wyse Device Manager (WDM) is a software that manages all Dell Wyse thin and zero clients. WDM enables IT administrators to
perform the following functions:
• Software imaging, updating, and conguring thin and zero client devices
• Asset tracking of devices
• Monitoring the health of devices
• Managing the policies and network settings on devices
• Remotely administering and shadowing the devices
WDM uses industry standard communication protocols and a component-based architecture to eciently manage the devices on your
network. This guide provides information about the prerequisites to install WDM, and the steps to install and congure WDM in your
environment.
