Wireless Proles Password Editor
This tool is used to capture the Wireless proles and allows you to edit the passwords. Captured proles are saved to a selected XML le.
The same XML le can be used to congure Edge Gateway devices through EDM.
NOTE:
.NET Framework 4.5 must be installed to run this tool on any Windows OS or Windows Embedded OS.

Conguring the Wireless Proles Password Editor
To congure the Wireless Proles Password Editor, do the following:
1 Click the Browse button, to open the save dialog box. Select the existing XML le, or provide a le name to create a new XML prole.
2 Click the Export WIFI Proles. If any of the proles are congured in the device, those proles are exported to the selected XML le.
Number of exported proles are displayed below the Password text box. Proles combo box is listed automatically with the exported
prole names.
3 Select Proles combo box, to list the proles exported. Select any combo box item. On selecting the item, the authentication type is
displayed adjacent to the combo box, and Password text box is loaded with the current password text, if Password is valid for the
selected prole authentication type.
4 Edit the password and click the Change Password tab. Changed password is encrypted and saved to the XML prole.
Limitations of Wireless Proles Password Editor
The following are the limitations of Wireless Proles Password Editor:
Passwords are valid only for the following authentication types:
WPAPSK
WPA2PSK
Passwords do not exist for the following enterprise authentication prole types:
WPA
WPA2
D
